Polish Your Manuscript by Working with an Experienced Editor & Sensitivity Reader
Make your manuscript the best that it can be. I provide developmental and structural editing services to assist writers in polishing their fiction and memoir, MFA application portfolios, and essays. I evaluate, edit and organize manuscripts based on story structure, characterization, consistency, word choice and originality. I offer constructive feedback to writers. I write short summaries for writers noting sections of the work which could be expanded or improved. My hourly rates are reasonable for both indie and rationally published authors.
I also offer sensitivity reads to colleagues seeking to enrich the inclusivity and honesty of their fiction. As a former social worker and participant in the surveyors’ movement, I offer a unique perspective. Areas of expertise include PTSD, domestic violence, child abuse, clergy abuse, and adoptive families.
