Cooling Breeze of Gratitude

This May saw the excitement of my new release, Enduring Spirit: Stories at Comicpalooza Houston. I was thrilled to experience the community of writers and readers there sharing their love of fantasy, horror and science fiction! Texas talents such as Melissa Algood, Jae Mazer, and Diane Prokop, and others, were generous and helped me share the fantasy & supernatural stories in my collection.  I learned from them as we shared panels and met cool fellow readers!

Publishing is a privilege, but book promotion can be hard for an introvert like me. I love that old joke “Introverts unite! Separately, in our own houses!” I am indebted to writer friends who helped me promote the book at their events and amplified my voice. Charming former SRP staffer Jody T. Morse, a natural talented at promotion, was a big help.  I was also very happy to receive a good review from an objective reviewer on Readers Favorite:https://readersfavorite.com/book-review/enduring-spirit-stories I write book reviews myself, on line as well as on the very addictive Litsy app. Book reviews really help an indie author reach new audiences!

The summer heat continues, but cool breeze of gratitude covers me. I feel blessed to have been inspired by  my wonderful son, who teaches me something new every day. I owe gratitude and a sushi dinner to my patient husband. Thanks to Gay Yellen, Pamela Fagan Hutchins, Jody T. Morse, Vi Moore, my fellow SRP writers, my beta readers, everyone at writing group, and the gals from Lexington.

This introvert would shout it from the rooftops, if she could, thank you readers and writer pals, Thank You!
