SUMMARY:Dear Red Riding Hood: Writing Postcard Fiction
DESCRIPTION:Would you write to warn Bluebeard’s bride? What if Baba Yaga 
 or El Cuco wrote you a postcard? Join us for this generative Zoom workshop
  in which we’ll generate 100-word epistolary microfiction stories based 
 on fairy and folk tales. We’ll use writing exercises and visual prompts 
 to create vivid\, voice-driven postcard stories.\n\nWhether you are new to
  writing 100-word stories or a veteran microfiction scribe looking for a f
 un way to sharpen your voice\, you will enjoy corresponding with your favo
 rite heroines\, heroes and villains. At the end of the workshop\, particip
 ants will be invited to choose their favorite one-hundred-word story and t
 o read it to the group. Participants are also encouraged to read at the Wr
 itespace Reading and Open Mic on Friday\, May 26th.
